    Re: IMF - PCN

    Hi @mystery1
Have you had a chance to take a look at this at all? What would you suggest? I heard nothing of my appeal, just a leter from this debt collection company. Thanks

How did you appeal (did you keep proof?) ?

Chase the company who you appealed too then write to DRP and advise that an appeal is outstanding and they shouldn't be writing to you until it is decided.

Ok, I appealed to the UK Parking Patrol Office, the company who wrote to me. I appealed via the post (sent them a letter) using the templatre you suggested in the above thread & I also appealed via their online form, again I cut & pasted the same appeal using the suggested template.

I have just looked through hmy emails and in my junk folder was an email from them in December, here is their email:

        Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your communication regarding the above Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
As you have nominated yourself as the Registered Keeper I am willing to advise you that the time in which to submit a challenge has now expired and access to the Independent Appeals Service is no longer available.
However, in order to resolve the matter, I will offer the following comments as to why this PCN was correctly issued and is still payable:
The site in question is subject to terms and conditions, which are stated on signs throughout the area. Those signs clearly state: “Parking Is Restricted To Vehicles Displaying A Valid Disabled Badge Only”.
On 09/11/2016 the vehicle was observed parked without the appropriate blue badge.
        Kind regards
        Admin Dept
        UK Parking Patrol Office Ltd

So, my mistake they had responded. What would you suggest now? You sent me a previous link stating they have not gone to court so far: As yet they haven't done court. http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/UK_Pa...ol_Office.html
        Would you risk it?
What would the end outcome be if it goes to court?

        Thanks

          Would you risk it?
I would yes. Make sure you file everything just in case though. 6 years is a long time for it to become statute barred.

What would the end outcome be if it goes to court?
Max cost about £250 or they pay you for a day off work.

Many thanks again. So what would you suggest on this latest letter? Just ignore it?
And keep ignoring the letters or reply?

That's what i'd do, ignore and file and hope they pass the 6 time limit passes without court papers.

                Hi @mystery1
I have an update for you on this case/issue. I have received a number of letters from DRP over the months, all asking for payment with the payment increasing and also suggesting court action although it only seems a theat. Today I have received a letter from Zenith Collections. I have looked into it and they seem to be the same company. Have you come across them? They are now reducing the amount back to the original of £59.99 rather than the £159.99 they were demanding. They are saying if payment not received they will pass to their legal dept.
I assume they are using the Zenith name to confuse and worry me.
My plan is to ignore again.. Have you come across Zenith? Have you actually seen any of these go to court? As I said they look like theyre the same company but using a different name to worry me :-)I have attached the 2 recent letters for your info

The most frequently named "debt" collector - also trades as Zenith Collections. Sends out letters with increasing amounts then tries for a payment by "discounting" later. Since "debt" collectors can do nothing, essentially just time wasters. There are a variety of different letters all with the same aim - to get you to part with money irrespective of whether it is owed (unlikely) or not (more likely).

That's what I thought. Very interesting. Interesting way of trying to get payment too.

That letter claims membership with both BPA & IPC.
I can't see DRP on the IPC database.

                              Hi @mystery1
This one is still on going. Today I received a letter from a solicitor asking for payment and talking about county court judgements. Can you please give me your views, experience and suggestions on this please?

Should I now pay to avoid a court judgement?
Has anyone come across such a letter from Gladstones?
                              What do you think? Thanks
